WTC offers a wide array of welding controls. From single phase single contactor controls to cascade and mid-frequency controls, they have all the bases covered. KVA sells and services the 2000 series and 3000 series of WTC controls under the Technitron and Medar brands.

 

Fixed Format Standard Percent Current, Primary or Secondary Constant Current Control

The T2050 resistance welding control is a compact "all-in-one" weld control. Combining years of research and development of high-end resistance welding control technology, the T2050 is an easy to use, reliable, compact, and durable control.

A 16-bit processor operating at 16 MHz executing over 4,000,000 instructions per second. This cutting edge technology provides the ability to operate in % Current, Primary Constant Current, or Secondary Constant Current with only the "flip" of a switch. This control runs a sophisticated algorithm that is extremely accurate and stable over a wide range of welding conditions.

A choice of four (4) enclosure styles and a retrofit package are available. Each unit and retrofit package is built on a common platform which makes standardization and interchangeability a reality.

The "all-in-one" concept also includes Networking. This feature provides for upload/download of weld schedules and data collection from any weld control on the network. Individual controls can be connected to a laptop or desktop PC.

MedWeld 3000 Series Welding Controls

The Series 3000 welding controls are free-form format simple to use controls for single phase AC, single phase DC, MFDC Inverter, 3-Phase to DC, and 3-Phase Frequency Converter resistance welding applications. The 3000 Series control is the only true integration system where the control systems of the PLC or robot has immediate access to the welding control through dual-port RAM that resides on the welding module.
